Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.

The Department

The Equestrian Affairs Department aims to fulfil the Club’s vision to promote riding as a sport and raise participation at all levels, from beginner through to elite. It oversees the management of four equestrian centres, including the Member’s facility at the Beas River Country Centre and three public riding schools at Tuen Mun, Pok Fu Lam and Lei Yue Mun.

Our Openings:

Equestrian Rider & Coach

• Retrain and school horses
• Deliver lessons & support livery clients

Requirement: BHS Stage 3 or above / IGEQ International Level 1 or equivalent

Performance Jumping Coach

• Lead show jumping and youth squad programmes, with responsibility for rider and competition horse development
• Coach riders & develop competition horses

Requirement: BHS Performance Coach / BHSI / IGEQ International Level 3+ (or equivalent)

(Senior) Equestrian Coach  

• Deliver lessons and support livery clients

Requirement: BHS Stage 3 or above / IGEQ International Level 1 or equivalent
