Young competent and enthusiastic groom looking for work

Having a passion for horses from a young age, I attended pony club. I then went on to work afternoons and weekends for a private yard looking after up to 5 horses and ponies on my own, as well as preparing and assisting with the teaching of riding and stable mangement for the yard owners daughter and her friends.

Throughout my time at college studying Agriculture I ran my own yard of native show ponies, which I Home Produced and competed up to national level in showing, as well as grooming for other people at county shows and other major events.

I would consider myself a hard working and competent groom, capable of all general yard duties who strives to achieve and maintain the highest standards. I am mature and responsible individual who loves a challenge and I work well both alone, and as part of a wider team.

Currently I am working on a farm as a general farm worker and tractor driver, however I am looking for a role which allows me to expand my knowledge and experience of working with horses professionally.
