Relevant experience

I have been riding and competing for about 11 years and would consider myself a confident and capable rider. I have worked and volunteered at a variety of yards undertaking jobs such as: daily stable duties, grooming, riding/exercising/competing, backing/breaking, training and ground work. I also have experience in the sales/marketing and events side of the equine industry and feel my degree training allows me a better understanding of the many business aspects of horses.

Current role - description

Underwood Sports Horses – Head Groom, September 2015 – Present
• Sole charge of yard while owners are away.
• Grooming at national/international showjumping competitions.
• Everyday care of up to 30 horses, including stallions.
• Riding and training of a variety of horses, including youngsters.
