Naturally I am an outgoing, confident and self-motivated person, who possess the ability to work either as part of a team or individually. I have many years’ experience of communication and sales, gaining the ability to confidently talk to strangers and advise them on purchases and decisions. This has been developed due to my many years in the equine industry learning and gaining knowledge working for a variety of people competing in a variety of disciplines
Relevant experience
I have worked with horses all my life and have nad a variety of experience. There are not many disicplines I haven't competed in over the years; currently eventing and showing. I own an exracehorse of which I have produced myself, successfully competiting in high level showing. Due to this I have quickly learnt how to produce a horse to high standards of presentation.
I have also worked on hunter hireling yard, preparing 8 plus horses ready for hunting for clinents and staff to ride, going out hunting and overseeing clients are safe on horses whilst out hunting. During my work on this yard I also learnt a lot about foster mares and care of mares and foals.
I have had experience riding and handling a range of horses and ponies, from 11hh section A ponies to 18.3hh warmbloods and have learnt to adapt my riding to the horse. I aim to strive for excellency when handling and riding the horses in order to maintian maximum satisfaction of the task carried out .
I am a generally a very organised person and have organsied two charity events, whilst completing my college course, both of which ran very successfully .
I have a big passion for the racing industry and thoroughbreds, aiming to ever increase my knowledge and experience with that side of the equine idustry.
Current role - description
Currently I am working teaching martial arts and working at the local pub, both of which are part time.
