In January 2016 Melanie chose to change career and began a three month Internship with eclat Marketing, a specialist cyber security marketing and PR agency, at the end of the internship Melanie had proved that she had the skills to pursue a career in PR and marketing and was offered a full time position. During her time with eclat, Melanie developed new skills to compliment her existing set, she is able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, and produce a high quality of written comment. Melanie's communication skills, both written and verbal are of a high standard. Melanie has gained a good knowledge of cyber security but her real passion is for equestrianism and wants to combine this with her PR and marketing and sales skills.
A driven and experienced businesswoman, Melanie has many years’ experience in managing teams of staff and consulting with current and potential clients. In the past Melanie has built up her own equestrian business and over a seven year period built it into a successful and thriving competitive, livery stables. Melanie has developed a number of transferable skills, the ability to deal with clients and staff in a sensitive and professional manner

Creating social media strategies to engage with existing and potential new clients, which has in turn increased the number of followers.
Identifying appropriate features and breaking news stories relevent to our clients.
Drafting press releases, synopsis', comments and opinion articles on behalf of clients.
Identifying target journalists and pitching an appropriate piece.
Attending and contributing to weekly client update calls.
Preparing weekly and monthly client reports.
