Megan Bruce

I am currently finishing my BSc Zoology course at the University of Exeter. I have undertaken studies on; ecology, conservation, disease, physiology, marine exploitation, invertebrates, mammals, biological analysis, ecophysiology, behaviour ecology as well as research projects and practical studies in the filed across various locations including Scotland Africa and Costa Rica. I am a keen photographer and cinematographer working with NatureWatch and on my own personally led projects. I am a very active person and regularly run, cycle and ride. Horse riding has been a key part of my life from the age of 5 onward. I have worked, taught and consistently participated in the sport for many years. I enjoy hacking and hunting, and regularly rides shares or help exercise and school friend’s horses.

I am a very dedicated, hard working and passionate individual who has worked with a variety of horses over the years. I am always keen to further my knowledge about equines, and love to educate, teach others and work as part of a team. I have worked in a riding school, and shared/loaned/exercised different horses over the years. I am also a qualified lifeguard, so have wet and dry first aid training. I am also a keen photographer and have my own photography buisness. I cover events and private shoots for individuals.

I am a Zoology student at the University of Exeter (currently) and due to graduate and return to my home in Surrey this summer. I am 22 years old, and have been riding from the age of 5 onward. For the past 10+ years I have been sharing and exercising horses for friends. I have ridden many types of mount, from pony’s, trotters, ex-racehorses and horses with ‘issues’. I can jump, hack, school (not been taught much about dressage yet) and hunt. I have a real passion for hunting, and take any opportunity to go that I can. I have ridden shares, hirelings, and also taken my friends dressage horse for their first ever hunt which was very successful. I am confident rider, and have plenty of experience with general yard duties (Yard work/shares/Livery work/Riding school work).
