Hard working, Reliable Groom with 3 years of Grooming experience.
Relevant experience
Having grown up around horses the natural progression for me after leaving school was to continue my education at Shuttleworth College studying a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Horse Management. During this course I learned a huge amount about the Equine Industry through studying many varied Modules which included; Equine Nutrition, Animal Biology, Estate Skills, Racing Industry, Anatomy & Physiology and Animal Health & Welfare. I not only gained vital theory experience at Shuttleworth College I was also able to gain hands on experience through carrying out yard duties on a rota basis, daily riding lessons and other practical sessions learning all about correct equine management.
Since leaving college with Distinction, Merit, Merit grades I made the decision to become a Freelance Groom. Having had horses and ponies of my own since I was 11 years old I have made quite a few friends with horses in my local area, this has enabled me to build a busy work load through word of mouth and maintaining a good reputation as a friendly and reliable Groom. Therefore I have now gained 3 years experience working on Show Jumping, Eventing, Dressage, Hunting, Stud, Driving, Riding School and Livery yards.
