Head Groom to Janet Ackner July 2013 to May 2015
I had the responsibility of eleven horses; five race horses, three liveries and three show horses. I had the duty of their daily care and management and exercise, as well as helping out with the training and schooling. I had to ensure I turned every horse out to my best ability by clipping, trimming, pulling manes and tails and plaiting, for the livery owners, show horses and race horses. This was reflected in happy owners, good references and winning 'best turned out' numerous times at the races.

Head Groom for Master Huntsman June 2015 – February 2016
Day to day care and exercise of 3 horses and 2 ponies. I had to ensure they were always turned out to the highest standards. I also brought on a new horse they had and got him used to and happy with the hunting scene. I also had to get the ponies ready for, and take them out showing with the youngest daughter. All duties, including clipping, plaiting, pulling manes and tails, trimming and so on. I also helped to handle their foals.

Freelance Groom June 2015 – May 2018
I did some retraining of racehorses and handling young stock, backing youngsters for racing and others for showing. Handled and rode stallions. Dealt with broodmares foals. Also brought on and sold on some of these. Also worked for Master of the Dulverton West exercising and general care of his hunters, as well as getting them ready and turning out to the highest standard for a days hunting.

Currently I am not doing horses but most recently have started race horses before they go on to do their fast work, helped on a yard bringing on youngsters and eventers and working for Master of the Dulverton West.
