Hard working, versed and well-rounded. I have over ten years experience in the equine industry, over six years with the Royal Mail and ten years kitchen experience. Having worked for hunting, trekking and livery yards. I am a very capable handler and rider. I have broken in youngsters for both riding and to harness, working with problem horses and competed up to riding club national level, completing the Pony Club B test also.
I am organised and proficient at working both individually and as a part of a team.
Relevant experience
Currently: Live-in Groom at Blacklands Farm, Surrey, started September 2016.
Duties include working as a team and sole-charge, turning in and out, mucking out, feeding, clipping, excising, general maintenance of the yard, and ruging. Also cleaning out dog kennels and feeding.
Horseback Trek Leader in the Brecon Beacons, south Wales (summer season worker 2016).
Duties include escorting rides of various durations, care of customers and horses, riding instructor lessons, general day to day yard duties, cleaning, schooling young horses and record keeping.

Patrick was backed as a three year old and turned him away till the following spring. I brought him on for around two years from the beginning, schooling, hacking, hunting and Pony club rallies, aswell as looking after him for periods of time.
