Positive self-starter, keen to find a role in marketing, event organisation or administration within the equine industry. I am currently self employed as a freelance groom and have decided to now find employment within a role that will best suit my drive to keep busy and organised to an air tight time schedule.

In total I have 15 years of experience in the Equine industry. I have worked on many yards i.e show jumping , hunting, eventing & showing yards. In all jobs, my role would include all yard duties, clipping, plaiting, exercising the horses and travelling to shows.
I currently have a bluecross rescue horse that I have backed and trained by myself.
Aswell as having all the on yard experience I also worked as a Police Community Support Officer for just under 3 years for Thames Valley Police, in this role I gained the experience of relationship building, data inputing/handling, working under pressure and customer service.

My role as a freelance groom requires me to be on top of my business from top to bottom. From managing business expenses, payments and taxes to client relationship building and diary management in order to maintain a high level of productivity whilst providing a quality service within a cost-effective time frame. I am currently given sole charge of 5 privately owned equestrian centres that are equipped with between 4 and 14 stables, an equipment store and training school. The primary duties of the service that I provide to my clients are exercising and training horses, maintaining proper hygiene and maintaining all equipment to a high standard. This role carries with it a high risk of physical injury therefore it is essential to carry out all duties thoroughly without cutting corners. I have grown the business myself without any up-front investment or partnership by using my networking skills within the equestrian industry to build a trusting relationship with each client. I have also retained 100% of my current client base from month 1 of starting the business.
