Full-time Yard Manager required at a brand new Equestrian Centre run by a children’s charity based in the centre of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. The charity aims to change the lives of disadvantaged children by providing them with riding lessons and time with horses. The charity are currently in the process of taking over a riding school, and aiming to develop the site into a BHS Centre of Excellence and Pony Club Centre. The Centre would provide lessons, liveries, pony parties, corporate and vocational training with 60 horses onsite within five years. They are now looking to appoint a talented and passionate individual who can take charge of running the yard on a day to day basis, manage other staff and oversee the running of the lessons in the riding school. Reporting to the Managing Director the appointed candidate will have responsibility for equestrian side of the business. Applicants should ideally be qualified to BHSII however exceptional individuals qualified at AI level will be considered. You should also have exceptional communication skills, be highly organised and a confident manager of people and horses. On-site non-shared accommodation provided. Own horse welcome.
