Livery Groom

We are looking for an experienced full time member of staff, 5 days a week, who is passionate about working with horses. 

We are the first BHS Approved yard in Jersey and are looking to expand our team and set up a new Riding School. 

This is a state of the art Livery yard, training & competition centre with super horses and excellent facilities on the beautiful Island of Jersey. Opportunity to train towards BHS qualifications if desired.

High standards, conscientious, and attention to detail are essential as the best care for our horses is paramount. Applicants must have a “can do attitude’ and be willing and capable of working within and supporting our team of existing grooms and coaches in the daily operations of our busy centre.

You will have a key role in assisting the yard manager with the day to day running of the yard including liaising with vets and farriers etc. Riding and coaching may be available for the right candidate, but equally, we would also consider someone looking for a non-riding role.

We also have a brand new single occupancy staff accommodation with en suite facilities, on-site. There is also a staff vehicle available to allow you to see the island on your off days or evenings. 5 day week to include weekends on a rota, 42.5 hours a week, 3 weeks holiday.
