Ref 1120 Yard Groom – Small Competition Yard

Are you a passionate and reliable groom looking for your next move? A full-time role has become available at a small, professional competition yard in Wiltshire. With top facilities, you will be working alongside the rest of the team plus the owner in caring for up to 11 - 15 horses.

This role could suit an experienced groom or a groom looking to progress and further their career as training can be offered on the job or a chance to undertake further qualifications if desired! An opportunity to attend competitions with the rider who is currently out once or twice a week to compete or train.

The right candidate must be happy to work as part of a team and have previous experience working in sole charge. They must be professional, reliable, open minded and able to carry out tasks to high standards. All daily yard duties including clipping, plaiting and competition turn out.

An opportunity to ride if desired however, the right candidate must be happy and confident to long rein and lunge.

A competitive package offered including a 5.5 day week, on-site accommodation, room for own horse plus an opportunity to have lessons from the owner!
