1046. Home Groom / Rider – Private Family

A lovely full time home groom/rider role has become available to work alongside a part time employee and the private family who are based near Lichfield, Midlands. The yard has 8 horses and ponies, a 60x20m arena and plenty of hacking available! 

A generous employment offer with a 5 day week with hours of around 7.30-4.30pm, 30 days holiday, accommodation provided with all bills, pet or partner welcome and a salary of around £22-24k per year depending on experience. 

The perfect candidate will have experience in the equine industry, be reliable and caring with horses and happy to ride/handle a range of horses from young warmbloods to a rescue pony. The horses are turned out at night on a track system and come in during the day. All yard duties including feeding, grooming and stables along with plenty of riding including hacking, ground work and schooling so a competent and experienced rider a must!
