1092. Freelance or PT Groom – Dressage Yard

We are looking for a Groom on a small private yard in West Oxfordshire.

As a minimum we require three days a week but with ability to flex up to 7 days when owner is away. Could flex up with full or half days when competing etc . Might possibly consider full time for the right person.

The owner is on the yard and happy to be flexible – a super employer whose previous grooms have been with them 5+ years!

There are a small number of competition dressage horses plus retired horses who mainly live out. A non-riding role with competition grooming and all usual yard duties. Each horse is treated as an individual and both the yard and the horses are kept to a very high standard. As it's a sole charge position we need someone self-motivated, very reliable, trustworthy and conscientious, with good common sense and attention to detail. Training can be offered for a less experienced person.

Excellent pay offered. Freelance or PT contract provided. Possibility of a luxury self-contained 2 bedroom log cabin, plus possibility of own horse(s).
