Description
A lovely full time home groom/rider role has become available to work alongside a part time employee most days, some days sole care, at a private family yard who are based near Lichfield, Midlands.
The yard has 9 horses and ponies, a 60x20m arena and good hacking available.
A generous employment offer with a 4 day week (can be 5), hours around 7.30am - 4pm, 24 days holiday. Salary around £21-23K per year depending on experience.
The perfect candidate will have many years of experience in the equine industry, be fit and reliable and most importantly caring with horses. Happy to ride (to a competent level) and handle a range of horses from warmbloods to a rescue pony.
The horses are turned out onto a track system at night and come in during the day for exercise. All yard duties including feeding, grooming, keeping stables/yard clean and tidy to high standard, paddock maintenance. A genuine interest in groundwork is desirable and good level of schooling and hacking a bonus.
