Are you a freelancer in Uxbridge looking for regular hours?
A unique opportunity has become available to work for a private family to be a groom to a girl and her pony! The family are ideally looking for two evenings a week plus weekends with flexibility to cover competitions. The rider participates in all pony club activities, showing and clinics.
Duties will include
- meeting the rider after school to assist/supervise with tacking up and riding to include lessons, hacking, jumping,
- competition prep and driving the pony in the 3.5t lorry to lessons, arena hires and competitions.
- Liaising with family PA, to organise vets, farrier and competition entries and logistics.
The right candidate should be a knowledgeable equine groom with experience of working with families/children. The candidate should also be organised, reliable and trustworthy as well as having a fun and positive attitude and enjoy working with children!
This is a live out role and a clean driving license, DBS check and references will be required.
